Randy Christian, owner of EMS Arizona, stopped by in June, 2012 to introduce himself. Normally, I do not take the time to talk to merchant service providers, as I’m very busy with my business. However, it became clear very quickly that Randy wasn’t “just another salesperson.”
It was obvious that Randy had a great deal of experience, really understood my business and showed a genuine interest in helping Avondale Garage Doors. Randy took the time to ask lots of questions about how, why and where we conducted business. I gathered some processing statements and Randy indicated he would put some pricing together and come back in a couple of days.
When he came back, he not only showed me how to save money as I was currently processing, but offered the suggestion of taking credit/debit cards face-to-face through our smartphones. He showed me that if Avondale Garage Doors (me and my three crews) took the cards through our phones (with card readers) that Avondale Garage Doors would SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY. In these tight times, it was a “no brainer” to save the type of money he offered.
When our mobile units arrived, Randy took the time to install the units on our phones, train us on how to use it and reprogrammed our existing terminal. Randy then took the time to meet with my wife Ester to take the PCI test, ensuring that we were meeting the PCI compliance requirements. Randy is a regular visitor to my business and is always welcome.

“EMS Arizona and Randy Christian have provided a refreshing experience for Michelle’s Bridal and Rental. Understanding how important a web site is to every business, we desperately wanted a web site that show-cased our services. Over the last few years, we have attempted to have a web site built but were extremely disappointed with companies that “promised to do this or that” and NEVER came through. “Randy Christian “cold called” on my Office Furniture Business shortly after we opened. Randy inquired if we took debit/credit cards and I indicated that we did through Square and PayPal. I also told him our volume was very low and that we probably were not a good prospect for him.
Undaunted, Randy kept interviewing and asking questions until he found out more about our businesses. He asked if I knew much about Square and PayPal and what I was paying for those transactions and when my money actually was deposited, to which I said “no”.
Randy told me that he thought he could “help me”, which peaked my interest. He continued to gather information and then announced he would put a proposal together and sit back down with me. My nephew, Dave, who had worked in merchant services previously, told me I should meet again with Randy, that he was making sense, so I agreed.

At Dave’s urging, I agreed. Randy and Dave set-up the web-based card processing through our computer and installed a card reader that allowed us to swipe cards. Within the first month, our card volume INCREASED 1,000%! I was amazed at the growth. Now, each month our business and card volume continues to grow. The increased revenue is now allowing us to add new products to further accelerate the growth of our business.
